Browning Frames & Prints is a retail shop specializing in custom-archival framing and prints. We sell vintage photography including press prints, pictorialist art studies, and works created by well known photographers such as: Atget and Weegee. We have an extensive collection of celebrities and sports related photographic imagery.
Our 19th century antique prints offer a wide range of subject matter from botanical and oceanic specimens to birds and seaweed prints. From the 20th century, we offer a vast selection of contemporary works by artists such as: Alex Katz, Ellsworth Kelly, Josef Albers, Gerald Laing, Nicholas Krushenick, and Leonard Baskin. We also offer an extensive portfolio of Herman Struck etchings. We sell antique maps, rare posters, custom mirrors, and photographic portrait services.
We are located at 37a Cranberry Street between Hicks and Willow in Brooklyn Heights. If traveling by train, take the A/C to High St. or the 2/3 to Clark St. Our hours are Wed-Fri (1pm-8pm) and Sat/Sun 11am-6pm). We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
